"Originaire de Toulon dans le Sud-est de la France, j'ai grandi au bord de l'eau. Issu d'une famille de six, dès mon plus jeune âge, j'ai été initié au surf par mes grands frères, ce qui a fait naître en moi un amour profond pour la mer. Ce sport est devenu une drogue qui guidera le reste de ma vie. Tout en nourrissant ma passion pour le surf, je découvrais le monde de l'art et m'inscrivis en cours de peinture. Naturellement je peignais la mer et les vagues. Ce n'est qu'à l'adolescence que je découvre la photographie en tombant par hasard sur un vieux boîtier trouvé dans notre grenier. J'achète quelques films, je shoote, je rate, je reshoote ... et me découvre alors une passion incessante pour le monde de l'image fixe. C'est décidé, j'en ferai mon métier ! Mon bac en poche, je réussis à convaincre mes parents de faire une école de photo. Je pars alors pour Paris avec un boîtier et un 50mm. Une première année se passe, je shoote dans tout Paris, consomme des dizaines ou des centaines de films Kodak TRI-X 400 que je développe dans ma salle de bain et que je tire à l'école. Comme assoiffé de savoir, j'apprends tout ce que je peux, je ne compte pas les heures ! Seulement cette obsession pour le surf et la mer me rattrape et me rend la vie parisienne difficile. Je quitte alors l'école en milieu de deuxième année et m'envole pour Hawaii ! Janvier 2006, j'ai 19 ans, j'atterris sur l'île de Maui, armé de mon caisson étanche fait maison (faute de moyen) et je passe 3 mois à nager, tous les jours, peu importe la météo, sur le fameux spot de Ho'okipa. La suite serait trop longue à raconter mais se résume dans ces quelques dates: 2006 Premier voyage à Hawaii / 2007 Premier voyage à Tahiti / 2008 Je m'installe à Tahiti / 2018 Publication de mon 1er livre SURFACE / 2021 Publication de mon 2nd livre TURBULENCES / 2021 Je suis nommé Adventure photographer of the year / 2022 Je suis nommé Ocean photographer of the year".

"Originally from Toulon, in the south of France, I have been raised by the sea. From a family of six, at young age my big brothers taught me surfing which have bred in me a deep love for the ocean. This sport became an addiction that have guided the rest of my life. While i was learning how to surf, i was also discovering art and joined painting classes. Naturally i was painting ocean and waves. It's only as a teenager that i discover photography, when i accidentally find an old camera in my parents attic. I buy a few films, i shoot, i failed, i shoot again... and realize that this whole process fascinates me. That's it ! i will become a photographer After graduating, i manage to convince my parents that i want to do a photography school. That's how i moved to Paris with a camera and a 50mm. I spend the first year shooting everywhere in Paris, consuming dozens, even hundreds of Kodak films TRI-X 400 that i developp in my bathroom and print at school. Like thirsty of konwledge, i learn everything i can, i spend countless hours shooting, reading and learning. But this obsession for surfing gets back in me and makes my life in Paris hard to handle. Eventually i quit my photography school halfway thru the year and fly to Hawaii ! January 2006, i'm 19 years old, and i land on Maui, Hawaii with my home-made waterhousing and i will spent the next 3 months swimming at Ho'okipa every single day regardless the conditions. The following steps are a long story but here are some important dates: 2006 First trip in Hawaii / 2007 Fist trip at Tahiti / 2008 I I'm moving to Tahiti / 2018 My first book SURFACE / 2021 My second book TURBULENCES / 2021 Adventure photographer of the year / 2022 Ocean photographer of the year".
